This shot was taken with my Nikon D3, at 200 ISO, and shot at f1.8. Using a shallow depth of field allows me to get just her eyes into focus, and give a softness to the rest of the image. I just love how the greens and blues work together in this photograph. The blue tonality on what is actually a white wall, is all natural- created by the color temperature of the light at this time of day. All of it creates a gentle backdrop for Christina's killer blue eyes! Good luck on the show, Christina!

Portrait of Christina Salway
A portrait I shot last week of the lovely Christina Salway, interior designer, and contestant on the new NBC show American Dreambuilders.
